While the entire world was sitting around drooling over Beyonce’s insanely sexy cover spread for the latest issue of GQ Magazine, it recently dawned on us that the ultra talented singing diva also had to have a cover story…you know …the collection of words that usually accompanies a magazine’s cover…hence why they call it a “cover story”. It”s just that Bey’s cover was so hot no one cared to read it, until now that is.

And how fitting is it that Bey’s cover ( and story) comes via GQ’s 100 sexiest women of the 21st century issue? (I mean, who would you say is sexier than the Queen Bey? Besides me of course? NO ONE..that’s who).

But seriously, for those of us that can read, and I know it’s not that many, the good folks over at Gentlemans Quarterly have gone ahead and blessed us with a late Christmas gift by making Beyonce’s entire cover story available online.

In the interview, Bey opens up about her upcoming performance at this year’s Super Bowl XLVII next month, her upcoming 5th studio album, marriage, parenthood and plenty more.

On her new album:

“I’ve been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream. We all started in the ’90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us.”

On her upcoming Super Bowl performance:

“One of the reasons I connect to the Super Bowl is that I approach my shows like an athlete,” she says now. “You know how they sit down and watch whoever they’re going to play and study themselves? That’s how I treat this. I watch my performances, and I wish I could just enjoy them, but I see the light that was late. I see, ‘Oh God, that hair did not work.’ Or ‘I should never do that again.’ I try to perfect myself. I want to grow, and I’m always eager for new information.”
