A Clark Atlanta University intern recently tried to pull quite the fast one on funnyman Steve Harvey.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 22-year-old Kyle Reynolds is accused of stealing $10,000 smackers from Steve Harvey’s Piedmont Road office.
Published reports state that when the alleged clepto was questioned by his supervisor and Harvey, the Clark intern denied stealing the money, which had been delivered by a bank employee to the office prior to the robbery.
Unfortunately for Reynolds, the police report filed last week states he was seen on a security video going into Harvey’s office right before the money went missing. Reynolds claimed he went into the room to get a drink, but is seen on camera leaving the room without a beverage in hand.
According to police, Reynolds later sent the supervisor a text message saying, “I am gonna get him the money just so I can end this.”
As of Thursday, the money had not been returned to Harvey. Clark Atlanta school officials informed police that Reynolds has not returned to the university since the incident and is believed to have relocated to New York.
You don’t need Sherlock Holmes to figure out that this 22 year old clepto just made a $10,000 comeup.
