MyBuzzworthy: So it wasn’t scary or nerve wrecking at all making that drastic of a life change?

Coco & Breezy: Nope, it wasn’t scary because our mindset makes us so driven that we don’t care how hard it’s going to be or how scary it’s going to be, we’re determined to accomplish our goals. So many did people didn’t believe in us back in Minnesota so we’re out to prove them wrong.Anything you want in life you have to work hard for, nothing is going to be handed to you and we know that coming out here. We had our master plan and we just went for it. We were actually more excited than anything.

MyBuzzworthy: How long have you guys actually been in this fashion game?

Coco & Breezy: We’ve officially been on the NY fashion scene for about ten months now, but we’ve actually been designing forever.

MyBuzzworthy: Who was your first client once you hit the design scene?

Coco & Breezy: Ashanti. It’s actually funny because two weeks before we actually moved to New York we came out here to visit and made alot of contacts and when I store the contacts I store their name and what they do and what state they live in. So when we actually made the move out here I hit up one of our stylist friends and told them we live out here now. A few days later he hits us up during one of his shoots and tells us that he has a client that needs eyewear, he didn’t tell us who he just said he had a client. So we went to the shoot to meet up with the stylist to bring him our eyewear and his client ended up being Ashanti and he was styling her for the VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

MyBuzzworthy: Wow! Your first designing gig and it was none other than the R&B princess herself.

Coco & Breezy: Yup, and that was actually only our first week being out here.

MyBuzzworthy: How’d that make you feel, you’re fist week in it and you’re already getting involved with such heavy names?

Coco & Breezy: It made us feel amazing! It made us feel like okay we made the right choice. First week here we experience this, now what’s next?

MyBuzzworthy: First week success and it’s been nonstop ever since.

Coco & Breezy: Yeah, every day’s a grind we never take a day off.

MyBuzzworthy: Now if I want to order a pair of Coco & Breezy shades where can I find them?

Coc0 & Breezy: You can find them at www.cocoandbreezy.com.

MyBuzzworthy: With all this new found stardom, do people recognize you and stop you in the street?

Coco& Breezy: We were just talking about this! OMG yes! We haven’t even been here a year and now I can’t walk outside my house without someone tweeting that they just spotted me. We go out and people will recognize us, and I always forget because it happened so fast, so I’ll ask them “how do you know about us”. We’ll even have tourist’s from other countries come up to us and recognize us, it’s just so cool. It makes us feel good to know that our movement is reaching out to so many different people.

MyBuzzworthy: You came out to NY and became stars.

Coco& Breezy: We were born stars.

MyBuzzworthy: Young moguls in training lol. Now was the Coco & Breezy brand started by you two yourselves or did you have some sort of outside help?

Coco & Breezy: Nope, we started all this with our own little bit of money. People always assume that we come from this rich family, or this industry family. Nope, we come from Coco & Breezy we did this all by ourselves. Instead of going shopping we’d rather spend our money on our materials and our business. We’d rather struggle and work for our dreams than to have it just handed us. We got to where we are now because we knew we had to sacrifice and work to get to where we are now.
