Now isn’t this that bullshit. You mean to tell me just because we elected a President who happens to be of African descent , we’re not smart no capable enough to comprehend what we’re doing? Well, that’s exactly what former Republican congressman Tom Tancredo is trying to imply

The opening night speaker at the Tea Party convention suggested a return to a “literacy test” to protect America from presidents like Obama a segregation-era method employed by southern US states to keep blacks from voting.

In his speech Thursday to attendees, former Republican congressman Tom Tancredo invoked the loaded pre-civil rights era buzzword, saying that President Barack Obama was elected because “we do not have a civics, literacy test before people can vote in this country.

One question, were we “literate” enough for you when we elected our previous administration who single handedly almost bankrupted our entire nation while managing to bury it in trillions of dollars of debt to foreign nations? I’m, just curious.
