Rachel Jeantel, who was ignorantly mocked and ridiculed on social media because of her not so eloquent communication skills (as well as her inability to read cursive) just found some much needed support via radio host Tom Joyner who earlier today, offered her a scholarship to the college of her choice. Here’s what the message Joyner had for Jeantel, who was the last person to speak to Trayvon Martin, during her appearance on his show:

“If you want to graduate from high school, and go to an HBCU, even if it’s not in Florida but especially Florida,like Florida Memorial, Edward Waters or FAMU, if you want to do that, I want to help you do that. I will help you get tutors to get you out of high school, tutors to help you pass the SAT and I will give you a full ride scholarship to any HBCU you’d like.”

Yes, Tom! Educate rather than humiliate! Good for you, Rachel.
