So…last night, VH1 premiered its spanking new reality show “The Gossip Game“. The new show, produced by the same geniuses who brought us the highly rated Love & Hip Hop, centers around a handful of NYC’s top radio personalities, print journalists & bloggers as they work, fight, and gossip about one another in an attempt to reach the pinnacle of NY media.

Not really my cup of tea, but hey, maybe you guys will enjoy it.

VH1?s synopsis of the show:

Welcome to the world of hip-hop gossip and the lives of seven women at the top of their game: Kim Osorio, editor in chief of the Source Magazine, radio personalities K.Foxx and Angela Yee, video journalist Sharon Carpenter from Russell Simmons’s Global Grind, and up and coming journalist/bloggers JasFly, Ms. Drama and Vivian (aka Da NYC Gossip Girl.) In the series premiere, JasFly surprises competing radio DJ’s, Angela Yee and K.Foxx for a double interview without telling them beforehand. Whoever’s on top right now might come crumbling down when an issue of Kim’s Source Magazine releases their new ranking of the top radio personalities. And a big showdown at Angela’s blogger event ends in disaster as two enemies emerge.
