Producing genius, and husband to musical goddess Alicia Keys, Hip Hop mogul Swizz Beatz is using that magical ear of his to push his beautiful wife to record a duet with record breaking British soul singer Adele because he is convinced their collaborative effort would “make history”.

Speaking on the possibility of having his wife pair up with the UK superstar, Swizzy recently told MTV News,

“I just know that you know greatness when you see greatness, and teaming two greats up together, it makes history. And I don’t even have to produce the track; I just want it to happen. She (Adele) can produce the track, somebody else can produce the track…

“I just thought that, man, this would be a great moment for both of them, because they have amazing styles and they both respect each other. They’re fans of each other. So let’s make this good for music.”

Although Swizzy’s enthusiasm should be greatly applauded, he’d be wrong to assume that simply teaming up his talented wife with another big name superstar would automatically spawn a sure-fire hit. Remember how poorly Alicia & Beyonce’s long awaited collabo, “Put It In A Love Song“, turned out?

I don’t remember that one even charting. Heck..it’s been almost two years and we’re STILL waiting on the video!
