The Situation just landed himself a pretty nice situation.

The “Jersey Shore” douchebag will continue to keep fans entertained well through 2012 … now that he’s signed a deal for a spin-off show with MTV.

Like his fellow castmates Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D … Mike Sorrentino recently inked a “series development deal” with the hip network for an as yet unnamed project.

Speaking on the lucrative deal, Situation released a statement … saying,

“I’m excited to continue my relationship with MTV … Hopefully, there will be plenty more situations in the future.”
