Last night former Hip Hop heavyweight Lil Kim further chipped away at her once great legacy when the 35 year old femcee took to Twitter and tweeted the following :
Kim is referring to her spanking new mixtape, Black Friday, which she put on sale via PayPal this past Monday for $10 a tape.
According to her numbers, that would mean that Kim just grossed herself a quick $1 million in cold hard cash. (MAJOR SIDE EYE).
As expected, the hip hop community isn’t buying the Brooklyn MC’s claims .
“Hard to believe in one day Kimmy moved 113,000 mixtapes,” . “Six years ago it took a week for her last album, The Naked Truth to sell 109,000 copies.” -Rap Radar Editor Elliot Wilson
Blogger Karen Civil went on to shed some light on PayPal’s business policy which contradicts Kim’s claims:
“For people not familiar with paypal. New business users can make up to at least 3K first day without the account being suspended.. Anything over.. [3K] paypal will suspend your account for suspicion of fraud.”
Even Kim’s arch nemesis, Nicki Minaj, reacted to her rival’s rather exaggerated claims:
This is just sad Kim. Please ..STOP …tarnishing your once great legacy. It’s futile, your time came and went. There’s a new era of Hip Hop going on now. Accept it and MOVE ON. Lying just makes you seem so desperate. SMH….pathetic.

Thanks for everything, keep working!
