Not only did the veteran rap titan see his highly anticipated Watch The Throne album debut at #1 on Itunes this week, but come to find out, so did he! Yesterday afternoon, Forbes released their annual Cash Kings list, and the Rocnation CEO beat out all other competitors by earning a staggering $37 million over the past 12 months – -making him Hip Hop’s #1 Cash King of 2011. ( Beyonce should be very proud – - – this is the fourth straight year her hubby’s accomplished this feat.)

Hip Hop’s most prominent Bad Boy, Sean “Diddy” Combs, came in a close second with $35 million, with the second half of Hip Hop’s Throne, Kanye West, rounding out the top three with $16 million.

Lil Wayne and his surrogate father, Birdman, share fourth place with an impressive $14 million piece.

Notable newbies on this year’s list are B.o.B., Wiz Khalifa, Pitbull, and Nicki Minaj, who became the first female EVER to earn a highly coveted spot among Forbes annual ranking of Hip Hop’s highest paid ballers.

After nearly a year long war of words, DJ Khaled comes through and promises Def Jam artists Rick Ross and Young Jeezy have officially settled their past differences.

While speaking to Bootleg Kev, the We The Best CEO revealed that both Southern MC’s are leaving  the beef behind them and are back to making powerful music.

“Well first of all, I don’t condone problems,” Khaled explained in an interview with radio host Bootleg Kev. “That’s what I do. I represent that love and making great music. And them two guys, they don’t have no problems. So, you know, I guess this is an exclusive, they don’t have problems. I guess people in the streets, they try to make things into a problem. But that’s just life. That’s when you know you’re hot and that’s just part of the game, man. Being in the game and being successful, you have to deal with things like that. But you know, they ain’t got not problems. It’s all love. I don’t know what to tell you. It’s all love.” (Bootleg Kev)

Like seriously! Why does every rapper feel the need to hop on a hot beat AFTER it has already been remixed…TWICE!? Case in point – - –Drake’s national haters anthem – - “Marvin’s Room“.

Now, I must admit that when I first heard the beat I fell in love. But then I started listening to the songs’s actual lyrics and drunk or not I simply couldn’t co-sign Drizzy’s alcohol fueled hate. No one can argue that the man didn’t create a hot song with an amazing beat, but the song’s message, completely filled with “bitchassness“. ( No offense Drizzy).

Now what happened next is something that is beginning to occur all too often in Hip Hop. Someone had the bright idea and thought to themselves “hey maybe I can make the song better”  - — -and thus began the song’s unofficial remix.  That remix came courtesy of former pop sensation Jo Jo – - – who surprisingly enough did a pretty good job. But what would a unofficial remix be without an unofficial remix to the unofficial remix?  Enter Teyana Taylor. Despite Drizzy’s new track already being hijacked, the 20 -year old singer also shared the same thought as her female counterpart and blessed the internet with her own remix (and video) to Marvin’s Room- –which unfortunately wasn’t as good as its previous two predecessors. (Sorry T T but it’s the truth.)

One would think that with three renditions of one track already being out people would stop the remixes right? WRONG!  Quicker than most expected, Marvin’s Room began to become quite cramped! And we all know who came knocking on Marvin’s door for the fourth and most memorable remix….Chris Brown! Now in Chris’ defense – - -his remix should of actually been the original because it blew everyone else’s clear out the water! And I dare someone to say otherwise.  Regardless of that fact, we honestly didn’t need to hear another voice harmonizing over “Marvin’s track”. It’s just played out now.

Rappers, singers, vocalists, whomever, can you please… please…please do us all a favor and leave the  remixes to the actual artists who crafted the song??? No one wants to hear a million artists laying down their random vocals over the same worn out track. It gets boring and it takes away from the excitement of a possible “official” followup offering.

Marvin’s Room should never be this packed ever again!

Earlier this week, millions of hormone crazed young males were delighted to find out that naked flicks of Hip Hop beauty Amber Rose had leaked online. Amber, however, was not as enthuisatic.

I trusted someone that worked 4 me & allowed them to use my laptop a million times, I caught this person sending my pics to themselves and I fired this person immediately.

Wiz & I & both of our families have known about this for 2 months now. We tried to prepare ourselves for this day. Those pictures r 2 1/2 years old just sitting in my computer. Im really hurt & embarr#!@%*#ed because I have so many young girls that look up to me. I would never put those pics out of myself. The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family. Its a messed up situation when someone so evil comes into ur life and tries to destroy it.

I know Im not the only girl in the world that has taken pics like that but they were very private. Im sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down.
