According to Billboard, during a recent listening session of his Watch the Throne joint album with fellow superstar Kanye West, rapper turned business mogul Jay-Z,  openly discussed the slaying of reputed Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, and his views on the criticisms of our nation’s current President Barack Obama.

Speaking to a small room of music journalists just hours before the Labor Department released its monthly jobs report, which found national unemployment numbers rising to 9.2 percent in the month of June, Jay-Z said of the criticism, “He’s the president, it’s fair.” “You gotta fix [the country's current climate],” Jay-Z continued. “Can’t fix it all in one day. Numbers don’t lie, it’s f*cked up out there. Unemployment is still high.” Jay-Z then proceeded to joke about how Obama should have allowed him to deliver the news of Osama Bin Laden’s death on May 1. Acting as if he were speaking at a press conference, Jay-Z adopted the accent of a street tough and said, “He was a threat, you know what I mean? We handled that.” He delivered the line and laughed. Jay is definitely speaking the truth on that one. Women lie. Men lie. But these unemployment numbers sure as hell don’t. People are losing their jobs left and right. It’s real out here man. And it’s only getting worse.

So new “Basketball Wife“ Meeka Claxton called up Power 92 in Richmond to dish about how she’s portrayed on this new season of “Basketball Wives.”

She dishes on the haters who call her Greasy Meeka, Tami allegedly punching her out, and if she’s really as messy as she comes off on the show.

Meeka also explains why she has issues with Royceand why the show may portray her as a Evelyn/Shaunie/Jennifer groupie, even though it’s not the case.- YBF

Here’s a few excerpts from her candid interview below:

On rumors of her begging Shaunie to be on “Basketball Wives” Meeka said she didn’t seek Shaunie out. A mutual friend of theirs named Jackie actually reached out to Shaunie because she felt that Meeka would be a good addition to the show. Meeka said she was hesitant at first but wanted to show the life of a real basketball wife.

On how the show has portrayed her so far: Meeka said she’s not mad about it. She hopes the show will show more of her family and her running her business.

On coming off as a “Shaunie-Evelyn-Jennifer groupie”: She said she’s not offended when someone asks her about being their groupie. She said that they were just as excited to meet her as well. She set the record straight saying, “definitely ain’t no groupie status here.”

On Evelyn and Shaunie saying she talks too much: She said she doesn’t pay attention to all of that because she knows that they were talking too and she knows a lot about them too. She said at first it bothered her but now it doesn’t saying, “I can’t even be mad at that. I signed up for it. “

On how she handles all the drama stemming from “Basketball Wives”: She said she’s so secure that it doesn’t faze her, “to know me is to love me.”

On people nicknaming her “Greasy Meeka”: She responded, “It’s HOT as hell out there in Miami and they have us drinking like sailors so that’s the sailor in me I guess coming out, sweating like crazy. I just definitely know who I am…[I’m a] little too secure for all of that so I laugh at them when I think that they think that I’m bothered by it. It’s like…let them hate, I really don’t care. I know who I am and I know what it is. I’m the one that’s here that’s the basketball wife.”

Feeling the cover??

Thought it was just me, but apparently the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean movies left quite a few of you  feeling confused as well – - even the film’s star, Johnny Depp!

Depp recently revealed in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly that while filming the sequels to the hit  theatrical blockbuster – - he frequently felt lost when trying to comprehend the films complex and often confusing storylines.

“They had to invent a trilogy out of nowhere,” he toldEntertainment Weekly. “It was plot driven and complicated. I remember talking to [director Gore Verbinski] at certain points during production of two or three, and saying: ‘I don’t really know what this means.’ He said, ‘Neither do I, but let’s just shoot it.’ This guy is this guy’s dad, and this guy was in love with this broad. It was like, ‘What?’”

If the studio’s franchise player can’t even understand their films- – how in the hell did they expect us fans to get it?!

Johnny went on to explain that for the franchises’ fourth installment, the material was stripped down to its basic core, and a new, simpler story was developed to avoid overlapping plot lines that might lose the audience.

Depp, whose Jack Sparrow character is the heart of the franchise, also admitted that he doesn’t even know how the two previous sequels ultimately turned out.

“To be perfectly honest, I didn’t see them,” he said.. “I did see the first one. I have not seen the second one or the third one.”

They told me not to take it seriously. People get very serious about the Hollywood fame thing and the reason I think I came out level-headed was that they didn’t raise me to think it was anything serious. I had no illusions. During Monday’s episode of ”Chelsea Lately,”  Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow shocked everyone when she revealed she can swear like a sailor and even used to have an enemy within her own family.

Show host Chelsea Handler prompted Gwyneth’s potty mouth, by revealing that both women had grandmothers they called “Mutti” (German for “Mommy)” and adding that her grandma “was a real b—-.”

“My mutti,” Paltrow replied, “was a real c—.”

Paltrow, 38, went on to explain that her grandmother “just hated my guts, basically.”

“She tried to poison my mother [actress Blythe Danner] against me,” she explained, “but it didn’t work, because I have a great mother.”

“She was tough,” Paltrow continued. “You look back and you think she must not have been very happy and she must’ve had a lot of pain because she was mean as hell.”
