Looks like that’s the case according to Fulton County’s Sheriff’s Department.

According to their website the Brick Squad CEO was arrested earlier this month on June 16th on various charges ranging from simple assault to interfering with Gov’t property.  He’s currently being held with no bond.

Well isn’t this a new twist. Former reality TV star turned failed singer Heidi Montag is taking a second crack at the music game and she’s enlisted manager to the stars, Debra Atney ( Waka Flocka’s mom), to help her along the way.

Montag recently confirmed to RadarOnline.com in an exclusive new interview that Antney has agreed to take her on as a client.

“Spencer is going into the studio with Wooh Da Kid and Waka Flocka Flame, and I requested that his mother Deb Antney meet with me and manage me, because she is just fabulous,” Montag said.

“I spent $2 million on my music career, and it didn’t happen for me, and now I have this opportunity.”

Antney runs the Atlanta-based Mizay Entertainment which is home to some of Hip Hop’s hottest acts including Gucci Mane and of course, her son Waka Flocka.

“I need her to guide me in the right direction and I know amazing things will happen because she really knows what she is doing,” Montag said.

“I’ve never been able to be the true Heidi, and now that I am not working on The Hills, I can really focus on this.”

“I want to make my own niche in the music world, that’s just Heidi. It could be a Pink meets Britney Spears.”

RadarOnline.com confirmed through Antney’s rep that it’s a done deal, and Atney has agreed to represent the aspiring singer.

Another high profile rapper has fallen victim to the long arm of Johnny Law. According to TMZ popular Hip Hop rapper  Waka Flocka turned himself in to authorities earlier today on gun, drug, and gang-related charges.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Department tells TMZ … Waka was booked for multiple charges including:

– Possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce
– Possession of firearm by convicted felon
– Possession of hydrocodone
– Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
– Violation of probation for driving on a suspended license
– Violating Georgia’s “Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act”

The rapper’s mother tells TMZ, Waka surrendered on his own this afternoon “because he wanted to do the right thing and didn’t want to run.”

As we first reported, cops hit Waka’s home on December 16 — and after confiscating all sorts of illegal items, issued an arrest warrant for Waka … who wasn’t home at the time.

Waka’s being held on $31,950 bond — and a hearing is set for tomorrow.

Let this serve as a lesson to all you youngins out there. Going so hard in the motherloving paint might just have cost this young man his freedom. I keep telling you knuckle heads “If you do the crime Johnny Law will most certainly make sure you do the time.”

This shouldn’t even shock anybody anymore.

Just moments ago a Fulton County Superior Court Judge has ordered that Radric Davis better known as Gucci Mane be remanded to prison for a violation of probation stemming from an arrest last year. The rapper’s attorney requested that the judge allow him to be on a ankle monitor however his probation officer fought vigorously to have him placed in custody for which the judge agreed.

Rapper Gucci Mane is facing a prison term of 17 months if he is in fact found guilty of the violation. Hip Hop Enquirer’s Dennis Byron was on the scene to bring this breaking news story. A hearing date has been set for January 24th, 2011 in Fulton County Superior Court.

I swear some these rappers might as well list these prisons as their permanent address since they spend so much time in them. It’s 2011, can we please get it together people.

Rapper Gucci Mane has been arrested for a myriad of traffic infractions and had to be restrained with pepper spray, according to published reports.

Gucci, real name Radric Davis, is charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, running a red light or stop sign, damage to government property, obstruction, no license, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges, Atlanta Police spokesman Curtis Davenport told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Furthermore, the report says Gucci had to be subdued by police with pepper spray.

The rapper was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for a medical check up. From there, he is expected to be moved to Fulton County Jail. Source
