And according to the good folks over at Forbes, the Bad Boy mogul is STILL the wealthiest man in Hip Hop. (Uhh duhh!) The boy Diddy is BALLIN!

Out of the top five wealthiest moguls in Hip Hop, Diddy, who is joined on the list by Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Birdman, and Jay-Z, boasts a net worth estimated at a staggering $550 million. (Yeah bitch…take that, take  that.) Or better yet, give me, give me. ( No , seriously though, a brotha got bills to pay, and $550 million would sure as hell go a long way to help me pay em).

Diddy is the closest to becoming a billionaire, leading the pack with a net worth of $550 million. The Bad Boy Records founder has remained a mainstream mainstay for 15 years thanks to his knack for self-promotion. Lately, he’s been channeling that energy toward Diageo-backed Ciroc vodka, much to the benefit of his bank account: he receives double-digit millions annually as a share of profits. Sales of the spirit spiked 122% last year in the wake of strong demand for new flavor Ciroc Peach; he is entitled to a nine-figure chunk of cash if the brand is ever sold.

Diddy also boasts stakes in clothing lines Sean John and Enyce, marketing firm Blue Flame, record label Bad Boy and a handful of tech startups. But it’s his deal with Comcast to launch cable channel Revolt in 2013 that could push him into billionaire territory. He’ll own the channel outright, and based on projected viewership totals, its value could soar into the low-to-mid nine figures within the next few years.

The closest mogul to Puff is the Jiggaman who boasts an estimated net worth somewhere around $460 million. Which is nothing to sneeze at, but $550 million sure sounds a heck of a lot cooler. I’m sure Puff would agree.

That’s the news according to B&C . Reportedly, the Hip Hop mogul and former MTV exec Andy Schuon are currently in negotiations with Comcast and Time Warner to distribute their music cable network, Revolt, which is scheduled to launch on December 12th.

On his plans for 2012
I have huge plans for both. Twelve months ago, I basically relocated to L.A. I still live in New York, but I’m bi-coastal. I have some major announcements at the top of the year on things I’m producing—an announcement that’s bigger than anyone can realize on something I’m acquiring. And also, films that I’m starring in. I’m looking forward to 2012; it’s a huge transition for me out of music onto the big screen and continuing my legacy as a producer. You know, I’m one of the most successful African-American television executive producers in history. I’ve had six shows on the air at one time. I don’t say that in a braggadocio way. But you should definitely remember this conversation and look back at it and say, “I remember he told me he was going to make some huge announcements.

On what his brand stands for
I think I stand for aspiration. [That] hard work pays off. People from all walks of life and all over the world look at me and know my humble beginnings and know that everything I’ve done has been through hard work. People respect me as a marketer and brand builder.

On his grand plan
My dream was that you would wake up in the morning, your alarm would go off, one of my records would be playing. You’d get in the shower and use my shampoo. Then you would get out and use the beauty products. You’d get dressed and put on Sean John [clothing], and then you would go to work. And after work, you would go and change into your evening wear to go out to a club or out on a date and you’d put on Sean John again, spray on another of my fragrances, stop by and have a drink of Ciroc. And then maybe take your young lady out to a movie that I was starring in.

So you want your brand to consume every point in a person’s day?
It’s “how can I follow them throughout the different steps of their day and make the day more entertaining?” But it’s not “how can I get money from them?” Then, if I market it in the right way, you know, it’s like building the right mousetrap.

On whether he will ever run for President 
I definitely won’t be running for president anytime soon. I do not think I would be able to pass the presidential scrutiny test.
