President Barack Obama and his Democratic party are in full out panic mode after raising a paltry $71 Million in June contributions, a number which pales in comparison to the  whopping $106 Million his GOP opponent Mitt Romney raised over the same period of time. That’s a $35 Million dollar difference, a difference President Obama knows  can eventually cost him the election should it happen again.

Speaking on the numbers and Romney’s fundraising prowess, Obama’s campaign COO sent out a mass email which contained the following headline:

“WE COULD LOSE IF THIS CONTINUES,”

And he’s never been more right. Never kid yourself people, MONEY is what wins elections. NOT slogans, NOT policies, NOT even people. It’s MONEY, and lots of it.  Something both candidates are clearly aware of.
