New York City doesn’t play when it comes to illegal gun charges just ask Mr. Shyne Po or NFL baller Plaxico Burress. You can now add hip hop titan Lil Wayne to the list.

Lil Wayne has officially entered a…… guilty plea for a gun possession charge. As previously reported, Wayne was due in court Wednesday for DNA testing stemming from his 2007 arrest. Wayne was arrested by New York Police after they boarded his tour bus and found a loaded hand gun. He was charged with weapons possessions and could face up to 3 ½ years in jail.

Weezy originally pleaded not guilty but now with his guilty plea, he will only face a maximum of 1 year in jail.

Weezy’s upcoming trial for possession of a narcotic drug, narcotic drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia in Arizona is still set for March of next year.

Damn who is Baby going to leach off of while Wayne is serving time? Good thing they just signed Drake.
